Unlike most traditional brokerage houses which require $500, $1,000 or even more to open an investing account, there are now several which allow you to get started with just $5-or less! At Acorns an SEC Registered Investment Advisor, anyone can start an investment account, know NOTHING about investing, and start with only $5. They started during 10-2014, now have over a million investors, and will even start you out with a FREE $5 when you use my invitation link.

The new “Micro Investing” companies of today now allow anyone to start investing and basically be flat-broke. These new companies let you invest thru they’re easy to use apps, on the go, quickly, and at any time.

Based on a few simple questions when you build and submit your profile, Acorns will recommend a custom portfolio for you so you won’t need to pick out your investments unless you want to. You still have the option at any time to change or adjust your investment mix making it conservative, aggressive, or anything in between.  Via email of toll-free calls, Acorns can help you navigate and they have 5 different mix options. Acorns don’t charge any trading commissions but do have a $1 monthly fee for accounts less than $5,000 and just .25% for an account over $5,000.

1-You can have recurring investments for any amount. Set it up, select an amount and begin investing regularly and automatically on a recurring basis. Most set up either a daily, weekly, or monthly recurring plan, but that’s totally up to you.

2-Maybe chose one time investments.  Anytime make a 1-time investment of just a $5 minimum and begin to start investing for your future.

3-Roundups are the most popular way most micro-investing companies have. You link a credit card, debit card, or checking account to Acorns. Each time you make a purchase your purchase gets rounded up to the next dollar and that spare change is painlessly, and automatically gets invested for you. E.g.-if a spending amount is $4.25, then Acorns rounds-up to $5.00 so 75¢ goes into your account. Get the idea?

4-A lot of stocks in your portfolio pay dividends, and those dividends are distributed to shareholders-YOU! You then may select to have those dividends automatically invested in your account. Easy huh?

5-The newest Acorn feature is “Found Money”. Acorns have partnered with a lot of retail stores, travel companies, loan companies, insurance ( I received $5 just to receive an auto quote-took 5 minutes) Airbnb, Walmart and more. When you make a purchase at one of the partners either a dollar amount or % amount gets invested into your Acorns account. Their partner brands will invest in your future when you just shop! On 11/2/2017 I picked up an easy $29 to do 3 different, simple Found Money deals and the next day Acorns confirmed these rewards were approved and going into my account.

6-A very easy way to add to your investments is to refer your friends via email, Twitter, or Facebook. When any referral signs up thru your own unique link you receive $5. Actually, sometimes a lot more! From 3-1 to 03-31-2018 there are $100,000 of referral bonuses up for grabs. Wo-ho!!! Imagine sharing and then receiving these bonuses put in your Acorns account just for sharing with a few friends?
