A newer Bank of America cash back card credit card pays you a $150 sign up bonus after spending just $500 within the first 90 days of your account opening.

This is a NO annual fee card and if you happen to be an existing BOA customer, you will receive another 10% bonus every time you redeem your cash back into a Bank of America® checking or savings account. You can also opt-in to receive your FREE FICO® Score within your Mobile Banking app or in Online Banking. Other benefits include Fraud Protection, Online shopping security, Overdraft Protection, and Account Alerts.

The 1% cash back for every purchase is low and other cards are more generous. The 2% cash back at wholesale clubs and grocery stores is just average, but the 3% cash for gas is decent. It’s maxed at $2,500 of purchases per quarter, so by just using the card for gas your cash back could be as much as $300 per year.

If you are a member of AARP, their Chase Credit Card also has a 3% gas rebate and the cash back is not capped like the BOA card and doesn’t come with the 10% bonus and the other perks. It does offer a 3% cash back for restaurants and the standard 1% for everything else.

It comes with a $200 sign up bonus after spending just $500 within 90 days and if you have had this card in the past you may be able to get this $200 bonus AGAIN! If you don’t currently have this card and have not received a new card member bonus for this card in the past 24 months, you may AGAIN get the card and receive the $200 sign up bonus.

If you can meet the spending requirements and get both cards, you will pick up a cool $350!
