Grownups comment all the time-Why didn’t they teach me about this when I was a kid? Actually, a great book at Amazon for grownups is; Why Didn’t They Teach Me This in School?: 99 Personal Money Management Principles to Live By.teaching kids about money

The 17 FREE Cha Ching videos by the Jackson Charitable Foundation, Inc. are a financial literacy program for 7 to 12-year-olds. All the storylines are about earning, saving, spending and donating by illustrating real-life situations. Teaching kids some of these basic building blocks about money and saving may be one of the greatest gifts you could ever give and unlike broken toys, learning gifts are always permanent. My father gave me a free learning gift with this saying-“Most people are too busy making a living to have any real money”! Most of the videos will teach your kids how to be savers instead of spenders.

These clever educational videos by The Jackson Charitable Foundation are about bringing financial education to Americans. By chance 30 years ago I was licensed with the parent company of the foundation, Jackson National Life Insurance Company. At that time they had two different term insurance policies, a 10-year Renewable Term, and an Annual Renewable Term policy, both of which were the lowest cost policies in the country for several years and were unbeatable.

Several highly rated great books on kids saving, spending, earning and donating are also available at Amazon.
